Students Convicted of Possession or Sale of Drugs
Students convicted of possession or sale of drugs can be disqualified for federal student aid. Any student convicted for an offense that occurred during a period of enrollment for which the student was receiving Title IV aid will be ineligible for federal student aid for a specified period of time. The length of ineligibility is determined by the type and number of the offense. A student regains eligibility the day after the period of ineligibility ends, or when the student successfully completes a qualified drug rehabilitation program or passes two unannounced drug tests given by a qualified drug rehabilitation program.
