SWIC GPA Option

The SWIC GPA Option may be used in lieu of an ACT/SAT score if students have completed at least 12 hours of the 37 required general education courses for this degree.

It is not required to complete the general education courses prior to applying to the MLT program, but for students using this option, a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average is required.

GPAs from other institutions are not used; however, courses that apply toward this program’s graduation requirements and that are accepted by the registrar’s office for transfer will figure into this SWIC GPA Option. Students must submit official transcripts validating their scores.
