Programs Without Special Applications:
SWIC does not require immunizations and medical screenings for the classroom/laboratory component of SWIC Health Sciences Programs. However, the clinical component of SWIC Health Science Programs involving assignment rotations may include minimum standards for immunization(s) and medical screenings for students required by a clinical affiliate, whereby SWIC must submit proof of medical assessment, along with proof of vaccination(s) or a request for medical and/or religious exemption(s) to those requirements. In order to seek such an exemption from a vaccination requirement, students must complete the applicable exemption form for submission to the clinical affiliate for determination. If a clinical affiliate denies an exemption sought, the student must be removed from the Program as unable to complete the clinical component.
