Arts and Humanities
The Arts and Humanities Division offers an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree; Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) degrees in Art, Music Education, and Music Performance; Associate in Arts in Teaching (A.A.T.) degree in Secondary Mathematics; Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees in Early Childhood Education, Human Services Technology, and Paraprofessional Educator; and courses that fulfill general education requirements for every other degree program at Southwestern Illinois College.
Arts and Humanities programs and courses are designed to prepare students for effective transfer to four-year institutions and successful entry into the world of work.
