International Studies is an interdisciplinary pre-major focusing on developing a greater understanding of the world than that provided by a single discipline. There are 2 possible concentrations: (1) concentration that puts special emphasis on global issues and the relationships between states and (2) an area studies concentration that focuses on a deeper understanding of a single area of the world.
