Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, conducts FREE motorcycle safety courses, including at the Belleville campus of Southwestern Illinois College. These courses cater to both beginners and experienced riders, providing essential knowledge and skills for safe riding. The goal is to enhance riders’ abilities, ensuring they become conscientious and safe motorcyclists. Even non-motorcyclists can benefit by gaining an understanding of motorcyclists’ experiences on the road. While the courses are free, there is a refundable $20 deposit required to secure your spot.
