2022 Graduate Speaker

Nathan William Lanter

Nathan William Lanter of Belleville will receive his Associate in Applied Science Degree in Construction Management Technology this evening. He is already putting his education to good use as a foreman with L&D Wilson Roofing and Siding of O’Fallon.

Mr. Lanter plans to attend the Electrical Lineworker Training Program at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, North Carolina, and transfer to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

His dream job is to someday be the CEO of an electrical company and start his own electrical lineworker training school. Mr. Lanter is a Mascoutah High School graduate and the owner of Lanter Lawn Care. He is the son of Scott and Jannell Lanter of Belleville.

The Southwestern Illinois College Foundation exists to maintain and enhance the quality of life by developing friends and funds for support of the educational, cultural and service goals of Southwestern Illinois College.

The Foundation promotes excellence by securing gifts for special educational and
cultural activities that are not part of the college budget.
