Head Coach Lindsay Eversmeyer

Lindsay Eversmeyer is in her 3rd year as the head coach of the SWIC Men’s Soccer Program.  

Prior to her current role she was the SWIC Women’s Soccer assistant coach from 2017-2021, where she helped guide the team to their first NJCAA National Tournament in 2021. 

From 2012-2022 she was the Owner/Head Coach of Fire & Ice WPSL, which is a women’s semi-pro team competing in the WPSL.  Her team won 3 Conference Championships (2013, 2017, 2018), 2 Central Region Championships (2013, 2017), and one WPSL National Championship (2017).  She was also a 3x Heartland Conference Coach of the Year award recipient.  Her all-time record with FISC is 70-23-9.

Although her role as owner/coach in the WPSL is complete, she has been the WPSL Central Region Associate Commissioner the past 3 years where she helps continue to grow the women’s game.  

She played collegiately at the University of Kansas where she received a Big 12 Player of the Week Award and made (2) 1st Team All-Tournament teams as a freshman. She transferred home to play at Harris-Stowe State University and currently holds 5 offensive scoring records, was AMC MVP of the Conference in 2001, and received the HSSU Distinguished Alumni Award.  

She also was the 1st and only woman to play men’s professional soccer in the Major Indoor Soccer League for the St. Louis Steamers in 2005.

In 2018 she received the Keough Award as well as the Soccer Legend of the Year Award presented by the CYC organization.

In March 2023 she was inducted into the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame. In November 2023 she was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. In February 2024 she was inducted into the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame.

She is also the on-field Match Day Analyst for the local Major League Soccer team, St. Louis City SC.

Coach Eversmeyer has a USSF C National Coaching License and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Healthcare Management.
