The SWIC Math Lab is a dedicated space for working on mathematics with assistance from peer tutors, specialists, math coaches, and even professors! We are located in MC 2181; look for the whiteboard sign pointing to our room. Our hours of operation are:

• Monday to Thursday: 9 am to 5 pm
• Friday: 9 am to 4 pm

We are a smaller Success Center focused on creating a relaxed and productive environment dedicated to helping you understand and increase your confidence in math. Inside the Math Lab, you’ll find computers for academic use, including AutoCAD and other engineering programs. We also provide full graphing calculators on the computers as well as physical calculators for in-center use (with loans available from the Success Center). Be sure to check your email for information on events we host throughout the semester!

Meet your Math Success Coach

Besides leading the Math Lab, I am also your SWIC Mathematics Coach! As a coach, my role is not only just to tutor you; I am here to help you focus on achieving your goals or overcoming challenges. These can range from personal or academic to short-term or long-term objectives. Studies have shown that attending just three coaching sessions can significantly boost your progress, so feel free to sign up for either in-person or online sessions!
